About Me and How I Make Money

To start off about me my name is Gerald Moultry. My friends and family call me Jerry. I was born in New York City but grew up in Miami Florida. On this page I want to tell you a little about me and how I make my money. I grew up in Dade County which was a tough area but I wouldn’t trade those times for anything in the world because I learned so much about life and survival growing up there.

I played the trombone in the marching band at Miami Springs Senior High and Miami Jackson Senior High. I graduated from Miami Jackson and have always wanted to be a musician. I wanted to be a performer and not a teacher. I played in an R&B band for two years and had a great time but learned that in a band it wasn't just about me I had to depend on too many other people to be successful. During my first year in college I majored in music but realized how hard it was to make it as a professional musician and saw how easy it was to get caught up into drugs. I didn’t want to live that kind of life so I decided to get a job and switch my major to business management. I earned my BA Degree in Business Management from National Louis University in Chicago Illinois. Through this process I learned a lot about me and what I really wanted out of life.

I got a summer job working at McKesson Drug Company in the warehouse as a stock clerk. I learned a lot about me from this job because I realized what if felt like to have success in a career and how motivating it was to lead people. I started out stocking and worked my way up to a working foreman which says a little bit about me and my drive to succeed. I went to school at night and took classes that related to the job I was doing at the time. I worked for McKesson for almost 19 years. I moved six different times with McKesson which helped me to learn about real-estate investing because each time I moved I sold a house and I bought a new house. I managed to work my way up to a Regional Director of Operations before I was recruited away from McKesson by Cardinal Health. The great thing about being recruited by Cardinal was that they had heard about me because of the success I was having at McKesson so they felt I could add value to their compnay and they were willing to pay a good salary to get my expertise.

Cardinal is another pharmaceutical distribution company; I worked for them for nine years. I started out at Cardinal as a Regional Vice President of Operations head quartered in Chicago. I managed to work my way up to Regional Vice President responsible for sales and operations for the largest distribution center in the company. I moved three times with Cardinal before I was recruited to Allied Beverage Group LLC where I currently work. Again Allied Beverage heard about me from my work at Cardinal so they recruited me and was willing to pay a good salary to get my business experience. I know this page is suppose to be about me but I want to say to the young people especially that it's important to study your kraft and be the best that you can possibly be and companies will pay for your talent and skills.

Ok back to talking about me. Allied Beverage Group LLC is a wine and spirits distributor located in northern New Jersey. We are the largest in the state and we cover New Jersey and Pennsylvania. I am the Corporate Vice President of Operations with two locations in New Jersey. I report directly to the COO of the company and I love my job. While I do love my job I think it’s important to plan for the future and to prepare yourself for the possibility that you may not always have this job. One thing I will say about me is I like to be in control so that drives me to be prepared for whatever may come my way. I like to have options no matter what happens.

That being said I started looking for ways to invest in my own future to set myself up for the future or the possibility that something could happen to my job. Unlike some stories you will hear I’m not unhappy with my job or mad at my boss I just want to be safe and control my own destiny. With that in mind I started searching for opportunities to own my own business.

I tried many different businesses trying to find something that would allow me to keep my current job but build gradually into something that would allow me to either retire early or just be at its peak when I reach retirement age. I tried selling all types of products and I purchased all kinds of business opportunities only to find out that many of them have been ripping people off. One thing about me is I'm proud of my honesty and integrity and I try to live that in every thing I do.

I started reading about starting an internet business because I watched how Cardinal used the internet to help build its business and was involved in some of the strategy meetings during the planning stages of this process. I heard the statistics and realized that the internet was a great way to build business. Unfortunately I didn’t have a product to sell on the internet at least that’s what I thought. I kept searching and got ripped off several more times before I actually found something that worked. One day I was reading and stumbled on this program called Site Build It!

I read all the material and the customer testimonials and in all honesty I was skeptical hopefully you understand that about me now. I was especially impressed by the promise that you didn’t have to be a technical person to create a website with them and I was also intrigued by the fact that the site said you could make money talking about what you loved and you could make money doing it. I was encouraged by this so I decided to give it a try. I am very happy I did because this site that you are reading is the result of that decision.

I love talking about financial planning because I had to learn through trial and error which sometimes is the best way to learn. Unfortunately I made a lot of mistakes along the way but one day I realized I had built a nice future for myself and my family.

Since I started this site I have got some great results. I have been able to get some of my family and friends to actually read about creating a personal financial plan. In the past a lot of my family and friends have asked me to help them with their finances but when I encourage them to read a book about finances they won’t but for some reason people seem to be more willing to read the information on the website. I think partly because they can pick and choose what they want to read about. I have tried to break the site down in to important information that is effecting people at certain stages in their life so they can read the information they need at the time and can come back as their life situations change. This provides a great deal of personal satisfaction for me because when I was struggling people helped me so I love being able to give something back. One of my personal goals is to leave a legacy so the site has helped me to do that.

Of course the question I get asked all the time is how I make money off of the site and is it worth the time. Well on the site you will see links to items that other publishers are selling on Click Bank which pays me a commission if someone clicks on the item and buys it from my site. I spend a lot of time trying out the products because I don’t want my site associated with products that rip people off. I also have ads on the site so when people click on those from my site I get a commission from the advertiser. I also sell books from Amazon.com and I have an Amazon store the sells general merchandise.

Ok the real question that everybody asking is how much are you making each month off your site. I have had the site a little over a year now and I have followed the SBI

I recommendation of moving like a tortoise because in the long run you will build much more free traffic and a steady stream of income. That being said I’m earning approximately $300.00 per month but I seem to be growing each month and my traffic is steadily increasing. I just recently reach the 30 page milestone so I think I’m doing pretty good considering where I am now. I know from the forums and communication I have received from other SBI

website publishers many of them are making thousands of dollars per month. One of the great things about the forums is the people in there are willing to help you and give you advice based on their personal learning. It’s like being a part of a family. The great thing about it is you can visit other peoples site’s and see how they created them and generated their success.

The Action Guide is very helpful because it walks you through every step that you need to take and keeps you on track. Of being the high strung person I am I couldn’t help but get ahead of myself but it didn’t take long to realize that I need to slow down and follow the steps outlined in the guide. When I did that things started to come together again and I feel really good about where I am today.

I could go on about SBI

I but I have dedicated a page to Site Build It

so if you are interested in learning more just visit the SBI Page. There you will find all the information you need to learn more about creating your own website whatever that may be and how you can turn you knowledge into cash in the bank. I am very proud to be an SBI

publisher and I hope you will consider becoming a part of the SBI

family. Just think of what it would be like to have your own internet business that will work for you day and night it will never call in sick and you can do it in your spare time so you don’t have to quit your job. Enough about me lets learn some more about SBI
